Protect the Green Gap between Yateley and Eversley

Conservatives have launched a campaign against the proposed developments at Firgrove Farm and Hollybush Farm. They are the wrong developments in the wrong place and will add 600+ houses to the immediate local area.

They will fill the ‘green gap’ between Yateley and Eversley.

The surrounding narrow countryside lanes are not suitable for the increase in traffic. We already have problems on the A327, a main road linking the M3/M4 motorways. Shops and schools are not within walking distance and there is no public transport. Residents have also expressed concerns about the impact on local schools and GPs.

The LibDems have dithered and delayed over the new Local Plan. And from 1st May this year they are unable to demonstrate the required 5-year land supply. This leaves us ‘unprotected’ from developer planning applications. The two new proposed developments in the gap between Yateley and Eversley are the consequence.

The LibDems must be held to account for decisions that let our area down. Your voice matters more than ever. Their actions have left our local countryside exposed to development.
