Last week Ranil joined local Royal Mail postman, Terry Hart, on his delivery round in Fleet, Hampshire.
It was a great way of getting an insight into the work involved in delivering the mail on a daily basis - going out in all weathers and Ranil thanked them for all the work they do.
On his visit, it was confirmed that postmen and women not only deliver the mail, but play an important part in the local communities across North East Hampshire.
Royal Mail is currently transforming its operation, which means every part of the process from collecting, transporting, sorting and delivering the mail is being improved to increase efficiency
