Ranil visited his local Sainsbury's in Fleet, Hampshire to find out about the Sainsbury's Active Kids programme.

The programme aims to encourage healthy and active lifestyles by helping Sainsbury's customers earn vouchers to exchange for sporting and cooking equipment.

Active Kids is now in its tenth year, and has donated over £5 million of equipment and experiences to schools in Hampshire, taking the grand total raised in the UK to £160 million since 2005. In 2014, the Sainsbury'sin Fleet alone generated £219,746! This is a fantastic record, and it was great to meet some of the people behind this initiative.

For more information on the Active Kids Programme, please visit the following website: https://activekids.sainsburys.co.uk/
