A proven community champion, as founder and chair of Back Off Berkeley Homes she continues to lead opposition to Firgrove Farm and other green gap developments affecting Yateley. She will also prioritise local services and tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.
Lisa is known locally for her active campaigning against the controversial planning application for Firgrove Farm, as well as other inappropriate local green gap development. She is the Founder, and Chair, of the Back Off Berkeley Homes action group, working closely with other community organisations to fight this and other local planning issues.
Lisa currently works within education as a key worker. She is also a registered therapist. Prior to this, Lisa was an international corporate communications specialist working both within industry and with her own consultancy. During this time, she worked closely with both national and international governments and politicians, including working within challenging geopolitical environments.
Lisa is passionate about protecting our local green spaces, wildlife and environment. Her priorities are fighting to retain the character of Yateley West, not just for our generation, but for many more to come. Lisa is also hoping to tackle, alongside local agencies, the anti-social behaviour that can blight the lives of local residents. This includes intimidating behaviour within our town centre, local streets and recreation areas, as well as wildlife crime, and unlicenced vehicles disturbing residents use of common land.
Lisa looks to bring a new perspective to representing the community that Yateley appears to have lost under LibDem control. She plans to bring much more active public representation for constituents. She is here to listen to, and represent, what local residents want most.
